This 1-hour webinar (including Q & A) will cover the following topics:

Container performance is the most critical quality attribute protecting the product beyond the walls of a sterile manufacturing site. The field of container quality and integrity testing is evolving rapidly as new products and package formats come to market. Few quality control technologies provide as robust an approach to container performance as vacuum and pressure decay.  Vacuum decay’s simple and reliable approach is a tried and proven technology for the harshest manufacturing environments.

Vacuum decay can be augmented to evaluate a variety of other performance characteristics such as performance at altitude or seal quality of a porous package. Vacuum decay has also evolved to use pressure decay and secondary measurements in more challenging applications. There are few applications in which vacuum or pressure would not be an excellent improvement to current inspection practices.

Container closure integrity is a critical test for a high-risk quality attribute, and few technologies are as versatile, reliable, and sensitive as vacuum decay.  This presentation will cover the wide range of possibilities to improve container performance using vacuum and pressure technologies available in the field today.

This webinar will take a deep dive into the following topics:

  • Specific technology strategies for a wide range of container formats.
  • Technology reviews of vacuum and pressure decay
  • Specific testing strategies for various applications

Packaging Technologies & Inspection

PTI offers inspection systems for package leak testing, seal integrity and container closure integrity testing (CCIT). Our technologies exclude subjectivity from package testing, and use test methods that conform to ASTM standards. PTI's inspection technologies are deterministic test methods that produce quantitative test result data. We specialize in offering the entire solution including test method development and equipment validation.
