Entitlement approvals for real estate development projects often require traffic impact studies in Prince William County, Virginia. The VDOT Chapter 870 Traffic Study process is followed for developments generating 5,000 or more vehicles trips per day. Below this threshold, TIAs are generally required for all rezoning applications, special use permits, and site plans submissions.
